ARTISTLAUNCH
began as a clearinghouse for internet broadcasters, but
has quickly evolved into an Internet radio network which
draws its material almost exclusively from independent
artists, and has further developed into a promoter of
the artists, providing them with Live Showcases, internet
and real-world radio outlets, reviews, and Artist Pages.
ARTISTLAUNCH exists
for the benefit of independent artists, helping not only
to promote them but also helping them to promote themselves
and to cooperate with one another in these efforts. ArtistLaunch
is devoted to the concepts of diversity and inclusiveness,
while maintaining standards to the extent that artists'
work is not lost in a sea of mediocrity. For those artists
who have not only the talent, but the drive and the will
to succeed, ArtistLaunch is there to help in every way
possible.
In 2001 we introduced
our "on demand" CD manufacturing program. Unlike
other on demand CD systems ours is not made from MP3 files.
It is manufactured from the original recording media insuring
the highest quality of sound reproduction. Additionally
all aspects of the product are excellent including the
cover art and insert design.
Over the years our CD program has grown to be the most
comprehensive CD program available anywhere. Today artists
have 3 levels of CD manufacturing choices and 2 levels
of CD distribution choices.
We also offer final mixing and mastering services and
even a voiceover service.
On the manufacturing side we can produce very large quantities
of CDs for the artist who wants a glass mastered bar coded
high quality CD produce for a low unit cost through one
of our affiliated firms.
For artists who are not prepared to make a large up-front
cash investment we also offer a middle of the road manufacturing
program where artists can have quantities of up to 200
CDs made at one time for a relatively low costs.
For most Independent Artists any substantial upfront investment
is difficult if not impossible. For them we offer our
on-demand CD program. We manufacture CDs on demand one
at a time. The cost per unit is higher but there is almost
no upfront investment.
On the distribution side, we offer two programs. Artists
can sell their CDs through our secure socket network shopping
cart either on consignment for artists who already have
CDs manufactured or through our participation program.
In 2003 we also reintroduce
the concept of internet "stations" similar to
what the now demised MP3.com used to have. Currently suspended.
In 2004 we also began
a series of live showcases featuring ArtistLaunch artists.
Nothing is more successful the playing out live and we
continue to develop the concept of live showcases and
plan to expand it in the future.
Our

- ARTISTLAUNCH.COM
was the second Independent Music Site to havemusic
Stations for
its listeners and artists. The old MP3.com was first.
- ARTISTLAUNCH.COM
was among the first Independent Music Sites to produce
Live Concertswhere
our Indies play live in front large audiences. And
we continue to produce live concerts today.
- ARTISTLAUNCH.COM
was the first Independent Music Site ever to produce
CDs On Demand for its Indies NOT MP3 CDs but
REAL CDs produced from the original recorded media.
And we are still the only Independent Music Site to
offer such a service.
ARTISTLAUNCH.COM
continues to grow and to evolve. Our purpose of becoming
the "de facto" Independent Artist Music Promoter
(OMP) has been achieved but we won't rest on our laurels.
ArtistsLaunch will continue to be the leader and the innovator
in the field of Independent Artist Promotion. |
