A subscribing artist on ArtistLaunch may not only
upload an unlimited number of songs but also the
song files can be encoded at very high bit rates.
In addition to uploading songs, artists may also
upload song samples. This is very important when
promoting a new CD release for example, where the
artist wants to protect the music from being illegally
stolen from the internet. These samples are treated
differently from regular songs.
And there is no additional cost for this service,
it is included in our basic subscription.

More and more people are shopping on the Web these
days, but security on the Web is always a concern.
That is why we pay for a SSL (Secure Shopping Cart
License) each year.
Through our secure shopping cart we can accept ANY
major credit card directly. PayPal is another great
way to shop on line although some consumers are
unfamiliar with it or uncomfortable using it.
That is why we maintain both systems. For those
people who want to use PayPal we can accept their
PayPal payments and for those who prefer using a
secure shopping system we accept direct credit card
payments. By the way, we can accept checks and money
orders also.

The Web is a visual place. You can't touch or smell
anything on the Web. Therefore graphical representations
are all-important.
ArtistLaunch artists can upload and integrate not
only artist pictures but also a picture for every
song and pictures for each artist CD.
These pictures are displayed in the artist's pages
as well as other ArtistLaunch pages.
Of course the artist may also deep link to his/her
images from anywhere on the Web.

On every ArtistLaunch artist page we prominently
display a link back to the artist's personal web
site.Not only that but artists can further use HTML,
JavaScript, etc., to add any number of links to
their AL web pages.
Further AL artists can create commercials to be
added to their Podcasts directing thousands of ArtistLaunch
subscribers to their personal web sites. We have
many tools designed to bring traffic to artist's
home pages. For example our "Browser Bar"
has more functionality than the Google or Alexa
bars, but unlike those bars it does not "Phone
Home" informing them of private information.
Our bar contains NO spyware. It can also can be
fully customized to the look and feel of your web
site, and it drives traffic back to you, NOT us.
There is no additional cost for this service; it
is included in our basic subscription.
Most music sites rely on artists to link to them
for traffic. That is totally backwards. The OMD
should be the one sending traffic to the artist's
web site.
We even have a very low cost advertising program
designed to drive additional traffic back to the
artist's personal web site.
