XEW

XEW focuses on writing and vocals, applying her unique musical sensibility and pure style to a wide range of genres, often working together with similarly creative musicians.

Among the furthest traveling of her collaborations are several songs done with J-Punch, which were picked up by many top DJ’s and remixed onto various projects and compilations by R:Tem, Fretwell, Micah, Presslab, Gee and Lighter, and Mike Hiratzka. The acappella version of “Amazing Grace” from her debut project is enshrined in the Library of Congress as part of the Chasanoff/Elozua collection, believed to be the world’s largest collection of recordings of a single song.

Other collaborators featured on various prior (or perhaps future) recordings are: Joey Muniz/The Bedroom Rockers, dj:Kable, Private Asylum, Luke James/Spaz, Post Modernist Music (PMM), Jon Larson, Mike Stone of Future Renaissance, Steve Lee of Essell, Joe of Sensory Deprivation X, Tim Dwyer of Full Source, and Matt Nolan. Her soon to be released (2009) work with The Lounge Lovers takes a more organic jazzy direction and is the fullest statement (yet) of the diversity of sound, style and feeling XEW strives for.

First, 2 albums are up at Itunes! The 3rd should be up around Jan 6th and featured! Whoot!
Next, the XEW web site has been updated with lots of new info and more to come... www.xewmusic.com
And finally, I accidentally came across some really cool news Apparently my recording of Amazing Grace made its way into the Library of Congress\' Amazing Grace collection! http://lcweb2.loc.gov/diglib/ihas/loc.natlib.grace.200040735/default.html

It\'s
finished except for the artwork, which I hope to have done after the
holidays. Whoot!
Currently XEW is featured on the home page of Watunes, ArtistLaunch, &
Top40charts. We will also be added the albums to Emusic, Napster & a
few others over the coming weeks/months.

So I have a musical bundle of joy on the way

Nope, the big announcement is that I found out today that 2 of my older cd\'s are going live on Itunes on or about Dec 22 & Jan 6 will be the official Itunes release of \"The Next Step\" cd and will also be featured...whoot!
Both albums are older and not the greatest material, but its a start and getting me set up in the larger online venues.
From there we will see how the marketing works and will be officially releasing \"Retrospect ive\" a little ways into the year(I\'m uploading it as I type to www.watunes.com if you want to hear it early). It\'s finished except for the artwork, which I hope to have done after the holidays. Whoot!

Give XEW a listen! Amazing grace is more than just one of the songs in her 43 song set. She offers a rich range of tunes in Ambient, Experimental, and A\'cappella. My personal favorites is Sway. Give XEW a listen and find your favorite.
